The Little Jet Company is pleased to assist Maggie’s Cancer Centre in Cheltenham this year.

Maggie’s Cancer Centres provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. They are built in the grounds of NHS Cancer hospitals with staff on hand to offer help and support giving advice about the benefits of eating well, places where qualified experts provide emotional support, places to meet other people and have a cup of tea. It is estimated that Maggie’s serve at least 80 cups of tea a day, equating to 29,780 cups of tea a year.

With the dedication and service provided by Maggie’s, The Little Jet Company is proud to donate tea bags to allow them to continue their great work in helping people with Cancer. “We are proud to be able to donate to such a worthy cause,” stated Barry Preece, Director of The Little Jet Company.

Ellen Roome, Director of The Finance Roome & The Flying Roome, and a Maggie’s Fundraising Board member said, ‘I approached various tea bag companies asking if they could provide regular supplies to Maggies, however they declined to contribute. When I mentioned it to Little Jet they stepped in and offered to help. Things like this mean so much to local charities with tight budgets.’

With Cancer affecting nearly everyone, no matter your wealth, background or ethnicity, we believe causes like Maggie’s should receive support from local companies like ourselves to continue their great work to help support those less fortunate suffering with this terrible illness.

On behalf of The Little Jet Team, we thank Maggie’s for their charitable work and hope to see it continue in the future. We hope to be able to continue to work with them in the future to ensure that people who are affected by this illness can continue to have a normal life and have the support required to fight it.
